Exhaust went on......

yesterday. Nemo and Marco were very instrumental again in making sure it went perfect.:yup:

The sound is everything I was hoping for, deeper than stock and actually quieter. All this from 3.5" stainless 304 w/o a cat.:Happy_672

Now all we need for this weekend at Moroso is the intake and intercooler, with some more tuning by Nemo.:Sonic:

man that exhaust is sick. i've never seen that particular set-up. did you just order exhaust pieces and just fab them together or something?

Thanks.:) Yes. it is a custom job done by Marco and Nemo. I wanted a deeper and quieter sound than what was available. Us old people don't like too much noise.:blockhead

ya i know what you mean. i don't think that my nieghbors like my car too much...especially when i come home after midnight. my exhaust is too loud sometimes. but hey, at least i don't live in sacramento where all those rediculous street racing laws have taken place...i would get stopped in a heartbeat

BORLA XR-1 and I don't remember the sizes they come in. I only checked to make sure they made 3.5" or 4".:nicetong:

21st Century Exhaust has the 3" x 15"L for $110.00 and the 3.5" x 15"L for $115.00, with both in stock. I would guess that Steeda Autosports would be similar, but I did not speak with them.

I know this thread hasn't seen any posts in a while, but I just wanted to let Marlon (and everyone) know - I hope to have the rest of my exhaust put on tomorrow. 3" all the way - will be using dual 3"' Borla XR-1 and dump in front of the rear wheels like Project Blue. The two differences - I have the downpipe already on the car, so I will have to see what adjustment in length is required and I will be using a 3-bolt flange from the downpipe to the muffler/mid section. Will try to post some picts (if they let me in the pit under the car).
