Well I have been driving the car with the new engine now for about 3 weeks and so far I love the potential it shows. We have only done some tuning for driveablility, while some of the little stuff that is needed is done. As you know the little stuff in enough numbers can be just as challening as the big stuff.:)

Can't wait to dyno for power numbers though.:smiley_02

The car sounds better than I though it would and with the combination of the headers, exhaust and TEC3, it does not sound like a SRT-4.

I can't wait to see it fully tuned and the numbers it'll produce too. I know you'll destroy AMS's record of the highest hp SRT-4. I'm so happy to see the engine running and it being on its way to its full potential.

Terry,

We are excited about the possibilities and while I think the extra mile went into building this car, you know it was built to get our message across. AMS was not even in the SRT scene when we started this Project and even if they were, it is still all about the message and attention we can get for our cause. Anyway I think I would cry if we broke Andrew's engine so badly that it could not be fixed going for 'some' record.

I am grateful for all of you who have contributed your support and encouragment, as it helped immensely in giving us the strength to continue.
We look forward to being competitive in the events we attend, as long as people get the message.
Top 5 in the world is good enough and 135+ MPH through the 1/4 is fine for now.:Evil_Grin

I know seeing Andrews engine start again was one of the happiest days of life and if god for bid some bad did happened to it that would be one of the worst days of my life, especially after seeing all the hardwork that was put into the car. Trust me, I wouldn't want to see anything else then the message getting across and I would do anything to help you guys do it. I know once the car starts attending events it will get more than enough attention while getting the message across.

I'm not trying to steer you guys in a different direction or anything like that, I guess I just hope that it breaks a few records in the process. Either way seeing the car finished has made me happy. You know how to reach me if you need anything. Keep the good work and keep me updated.

With a little tuning and 12PSI let's just say the car feels better than before.:Sonic:
Can't wait to finish breaking it in. Took the turbo and downpipe off to wrap and install EGT.

Frustrating; Everytime so far when we go to get a driveability tune, something you wouldn't think pops up.

First it was the Wideband, so I moved the sensor further away from the turbo to see if the heat was affecting it. While doing this I decided to go ahead and wrap the downpipe, the wastegate dump and the little feed to the turbo. Makes a big difference so far in the heat department, but we will see once I start applying more boost.:)

Second is the IAC valve went bad so the idle is arounf 2,000 right now.

Like I said frustrating but we are getting closer to making some power pulls while I do the fuel system.:babyhaha:
