In honesty Marlon has received the inccorrect brackets for the 1.10 rotors. The oens in his hands are for the narrower .81 rotors. Never the less he will be supplied the corrected ones asap to finalize my commitment to this fine cause.
Hat's off to the entire project!

13" x 1.1" and with the calipers and pads are actually lighter than the stock setup. All this is going to be covered in our writeup.:)

Pictures from the install.
The instructions provided by Todd were on the money and easy to understand but dummy that I am it took me awhile. ;)
So if you read the instructions first and then look at my pics you will get the gist of what to do.
Notice the stainless steel washers spacers used as per the instructions.

Some more pictures with the safety wire installed. This kit is great, affordable, functional and light weight.
We figure that with the savings from replacing the struts, brakes and wheels, that we are Saving over 20lbs per side and rotational m*** is down about 15lbs!!
Here are some figures to back that up.;)
IPP Coilover Front= 10lbs Rear= 10.5lbs
Stock Strut Front= 18.5lbs Rear= 17lbs
TCE Rotor 14.5lbs
Stock Rotor 16.5lbs
TCE Caliper with Pads 7.5lbs
Stock Caliper with Pads 12lbs
Stock Wheels and Tires 43lbs.
Aftermarket Wheels and Tires (Still to Come)

couple things...
spoke with Matt on these brakes and the other WW's the smaller looking rotors/calipers.
first question: what's the difference in the calipers between the dynalite WW and this caliper above? Same 4 piston caliper but diff. make? One lighter than the other? etc...
second question: not really a question but the gas slots look odd. I've never seen them cut this way in this pattern, also never seen them cut to the end of the rotor, seen the groove end before the edge...cracking purposes i suppose?
also, what are they made of? Seemed to rust pretty quickly inside the slots?
final question: the steel lines look pretty anemic. Are they smaller dia. than most others? Goodridge, etc. Smallest i've seen yet, how do they compare to the other brands, not only in size but perf. press. etc.

Relax.
The calipers of the LARGER kits from TCE are Forged Superlite Calipers vs the Wilwood Dynalites of the factory kit. For more info on the differences see the Wilwood page. Check the sizing. Not to mention rotor changes.
The rotors tend to rust as they are not plated. Unless you want them that way. Really, it's a waste of money in my mind, but for those who want nice shiny parts out of the box it's great. All zinc plated rotors will rust in time, and always where a pad is in contact.
As for slotting patterns the design is of zero impact on the performance of the rotor despite the hype of some vendors who toute their designs as 'state of the art'. Art being in the eye of the beholder. The pattern you see- tic tac toe, was laid out years ago by Mac Tilton and Carroll Smith. Seems some pretty good company. It's quick and effective. Too the edge? Yup, and never had a crack as a result. I'd lifetime warranty it to that effect. Won't happen. Given todays quality pads that are gas slotted too, the value of slotting rotors is about zip. But if you do it, why not do it differently than 10 others?
Overall, the SRT4 while a fine ride, does not present any new challenges not already overcome by other TCE products. This same combo of parts and pieces has beaten the pants off similar kits costing much more money on cars such as Eclipse, Focus, Impala, and Lightning. From my seat it's a different car presenting the same issues. And TCE produces the same quality results every time.
I'm here to help, offer you options and help provide the kit best suited for your needs. Not every one of those needs is the same. Thus I don't sell or manufacture only one product.

Todd,
Thanks for explaining the technical aspects. With me it's all about the *Bling*.;)
Just kidding!:)
Many of you will notice that with the Project, I decided to start from the ground up, literally. With the goals set for this vehicle, we knew that the stock setup would be challenged in the future and wanted to address everything now instead of later.
I know that it will get costly to do it right, but I did not want to worry that something was missed in the build up and cost me more later on if something failed.

I can testify that with the Whole package (fronts and rears) the car does stop a LOT quicker. I think the only limitation now are the tires.;) Thanks Todd!!
I just love the feel of the pedal now!!:yup:
Hand Brake to be done soon......
