This is the single stage water injection kit ( the one in the project will be the same but it will be dual stage)

Water injection turns on automaticly once it sees 10lb of boost and higher.

the jet used is a 18. with a pressure of around 120PSI injected into the hardpipe.

I was asked by one of the forum members @ srtforums where we bought this..

well in reality , we didn't buy a specific kit.. we created our own ;)

hopefully if time being we would like to have a supporting vendor @ srtforums make some kits for people to use.

Right now the unit is being prototyped in my car. and we hope to get it to the degree where it is extremely effecting :)

Got an update on the system.

Just today we added a big resvoir and filter for the water injection.

There is no more pulsation on the system itself. therefore that means that the AFR shouldn't change that much once the system is engaged.

the other thing I shouldn't clog the jets anymore :)

Just some quick pictures of the prototype system taken yesterday.

I am fully interested in this. Keep me updated.

Having never heard of the water injection, can you explain the logic behind this and what the expected results would be if the mod is successful?

Basically with the metanol in the fluid, it provides cooling and increased octane as some of the initial benefits. Allowing you to run higher boost. :applause: Until the stock PCM starts compensating that is. :Symbols_0

We got some special stuff for people that have the E-01 , we will be soon controlling this via the E-01.

new injector will be placed and hopefully once the car is dyno'd with the stock turbo, we should be able to push 300!

Nitrous, not alcohol. :Happy_050

Josh,

The last thing to go on this car will be Nitrous. Just want to see how far I can go without. Haven't seen you around lately. How have you been?

Gettin ready to go back to school actually, gonna finish this time. Already in, majoring in mechanical engineering. Put a stereo in the car, not planning on going to the track and not streetracing anymore, so the performance is stayin where it is for a while... I was sayin that nitrous will cool down the intake charge more than alcohol :Cool_653: though one does not preclude the other :Happy_143

Good to hear that you are going back to school, just took a little while to get stuff out of your system I guess. A stereo is the last thing I think that will go into the car, although Andrew Loved his music I think he understands.:Happy_115

Nice that the 'street racing' stuff is done too.:soapbox: :)

I think of nitrous as more of a power adder than cooling the intake charge, although that is one of the side benefits. Hopefully I will Not need it unless I want to play around or get really serious.;) Remember drugs can be addicting.:)
