Post Dyno 02122005 TEC3 with "Stock" setup

Well the chart for those that know tells most of the story. What it doesn't tell is what we have installed on the car.
EVERYTHING in the engine is STOCK with the only exceptions being, 60lb injectors, plug wires (because of the Electromotive DFU) and some gauges.

The stock wastegate spring prevented us from maintaining the boost to Redline.
Max boost is 17 PSI tapering down to 10 PSI at Redline.

Red= Stock
Blue= TEC3r

That's a good start, 30 PSI I mean.

We did some more tuning this past Sa****ay with the AGP WGA actuator I borrowed from FastAttack installed. Did not do as well as expected but it is an improvement. The lines are not smooth because we are using the Stock Wastegate solenoid and not an aftermarket Boost Controller, so some tuning is needed.

The numbers are lower than expected because of the shortcomings of the stock intercooler, exhaust and air filter. The heat soak was pretty bad, so much so that the Tec3r was backing off a bunch of timing in the higher boost ranges. There was no detonation though as the Tec3r was awesome and all this without the knock sensor installed.

Thanks to Nemo and Cartek. Nemo was not feeling too good, he had some sort of bug.

Red= Run 35 from March.
Blue= Run from Sa****ay.

As you can see we have Numerous runs in place.

Re: Dyno 02122005 TEC3 with "Stock" setup

Nemo and I did some 'On the Road' tuning today to check some stuff. And with what we saw using the datalogger on the TEC3r, we figured the HP on the street vs the dyno is HIGHER by about 25. The intake charge was a lot cooler than expected across the board, even in some 3rd gear pulls, than when we were on the dyno, by about 30*C.

So the TEC3 is doing a amazing job on a otherwise stock car and the stock intercooler is not as bad as we think on the highway.
